ATLANTA (June 7, 2011) – Last month was busy for Carter’s program development services group. The team just completed two condominium remediation projects that were started in early January 2011.
The first was for Valencia at South Beach Condominiums in Jacksonville, Fla. Carter investments bought the vacant units and is currently the majority owner of the four building complex. Built from 2004-2007, the vacant units needed extensive caulking and the exterior received a few coats of elastomeric paint. Condos are now available for sale with spacious two and three bedroom floor plans. The community also boasts a new croquet lawn, bocce courts and dog walking park.
At the same time, Carter was hired by SunTrust on behalf of Towne Park Place Condominiums in Duluth, Ga. to complete an exterior building skin remediation project to correct a damaging water infiltration problem. Built in 2004, the vacant units owned by SunTrust were in need of all new windows due to persistent leaking.
George Miller, president of the Unit Owners Association of Towne Park Place Condominiums, was Carter’s day-to-day contact on the project in Duluth and praised Carter for a job well done.
“Carter’s management and experience helped immensely in every phase of this project,” said Miller. “Your guidance and advice paid off in providing our owners with a building that is better than new with, we feel, a minimum of expense and inconvenience. The oversight you provided built confidence in knowing the job was going to be right. Being on the front lines of the project, I was feeling great pressure to make the right decisions. Carter took that pressure off my shoulders and I can’t express what a relief that was to me.”
