Georgia State Athletic Practice Facility
With their new football team completing their first season, the Georgia State University Panthers needed a practice facility in which to prepare for future seasons. Carter was charged with managing the new facility. The old shell building was completely renovated for $6 million to provide the Panthers with their new practice space. The renovated facility utilized the old bricks from the original building and left those exposed in the new design in keeping with the history of the facility. Additionally, the new practice facility includes thirty-inch-wide lockers, eight small meeting rooms, practice field, treatment stations, and auditorium space for the entire team. The project was completed on time and within budget.
