Clayton State Student Center
As part of a capital improvement program, Clayton State University sought to build a state-of-the-art recreational student activity center. Carter was selected as program manager to guide the university’s vision, and work with students, faculty, staff, administration and the Foundation to build the $17.5 million student activity center. The student activity center includes a wide variety of physical education and recreational spaces, comprised of a game room, café, fitness center, multiple group exercise rooms, two (2) full-size basketball/volleyball courts, and men’s and women’s locker rooms. The center also features a grand ballroom for evening and weekend functions. Construction completed on-time and within budget.
