Carter was selected in a competitive process to develop Campanile, BellSouth’s 475,000-square-foot facility that would house its corporate headquarters. Carter worked closely with designers Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback & Associates and contractor Skanska Construction to complete the 21-story tower and 236,000-square-foot parking deck which accommodates 700 cars. The building, developed in a joint venture with BellSouth, opened in 1987.
