Acquisition Criteria

Carter seeks opportunistic real estate investments which meet the following criteria:

  • Property Types: well-located office, business park, industrial, mixed-use, multi-family and residential assets with value-add potential. Additional property types and real estate-oriented investments will also be considered.
  • Target Markets: primarily first- and second-tier markets in the southeastern United States.
  • Transaction Size: minimum deal size of $5 million. Additional opportunities will be considered on an asset-by-asset basis.
  • Competitive Advantage: the combination of Carter's investment and development expertise and its broad market coverage provides a unique advantage that will allow Carter to quickly and efficiently close transactions while offering sellers a competitive value for their asset(s).
