WHY ATLANTA?

  • KPMG’s 2006 Competitive Alternatives Study ranked Atlanta #1 as the “Least-Costly Place to Do Business” due to its competitive labor costs and favorable tax incentives.

  • For the sixth year in a row, Atlanta ranked third in the nation among cities with the most Fortune 500 headquarters, according to Fortune magazine’s April 30, 2007 issue.

  • FDI magazine, a Financial Times publication, has named Atlanta the fourth-best city in the category of “Most Business-friendly” due to the area’s attractive business climate and tax.

  • “While the nation’s talented, young workforce is shrinking, Atlanta’s share is growing faster than anywhere in the country,” said economist Joe Cortwright of Impresa Consulting, author of a study released November 2006.
