Military

According to the Tampa Chamber of Commerce, MacDill Air Force Base currently employs 12,000 military and civilian personnel. According to a recent study by the University of South Florida, the military base provides over 77,000 direct and indirect jobs to the area, indirectly having an economic impact of over $4 billion annually.
