In his role as Director, Adam focuses on the day-to-day execution of Carter’s ongoing development, asset management, and advisory projects.
Adam joined Carter in 2016 and works across Carter’s development, asset management, and advisory portfolios. Prior to joining Carter, Adam was at Deloitte where he worked with clients on assembling and executing large-scale public-private partnerships. Drawing on his experiences from managing federal grant programs to advising local developers, Adam’s diverse client background gives him unique perspectives into Carter’s projects. Adam works on all phases of projects, from preliminary due diligence to contractor coordination to marketing and leasing efforts. Adam also contributes to Carter’s advisory portfolio, providing strategic consulting for both public and private clients.
Adam is a North Carolina native and lives in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood of Atlanta with his wife, Addy. Outside of work you can find them on the Atlanta BeltLine or traveling—especially to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Adam also coaches youth basketball and volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters, an organization he’s been involved with since college. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and holds an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
