Atlanta Business Chronicle | The MET shows off new courtyard, connection to neighborhoods
Carter has released updated designs for its redevelopment of a more than 1 million-square foot former cotton warehouse in Southwest Atlanta.
The images show that the longtime Atlanta real estate company and the project's architect ASD|SKY want to reconnect the redevelopment to Murphy Avenue and surrounding neighborhoods. The project will feature amenities such as a courtyard with an open air marketplace, along with food and beverage options.
Carter expects to announce its first leases with food and beverage operators in the next several weeks, said David Nelson, an executive vice president with the developer leading the conversion of the old warehouse.
