ATLANTIC STATION

Millions of square feet of office, residential, and retail in midtown Atlanta.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

A 138-acre environmental redevelopment of the former Atlantic Steel Mill, Atlantic Station sits at the nexus of Interstates 75 and 85 in Midtown, Atlanta – one of the busiest stretches of interstate in the U.S. The development, which opened in 2004, is zoned for 12 million square feet of retail, office, residential and hotel space, as well as 11 acres of public parks, at full buildout.

AIG and Jacoby Development awarded Carter the contract to act as development manager for the majority of the project. Carter provided development services for the delivery of over 800,000 square feet of retail, 440,000 square feet of residential, and 900,000 square feet of office space.

Carter provided project management, leasing, and property management services for both 201 and 271 17th Street, two of the development’s trophy office towers in Midtown Atlanta which Atlantic Station has helped to become the legal and financial corridor of Midtown, Atlanta.
